We graduated from UC Davis in June 2008 and spent the next year serving on staff at Davis Christian Fellowship, a Chi Alpha campus ministry. In June 2009 our campus pastors officiated at our wedding and we moved to Berkeley, California, to start a brand new Chi Alpha ministry to outreach to the campus. We are working closely Earl & Janet Creps, pastors of 360church, who are planting a church geared toward the students, university employees, and the surrounding community connected to the campus. We frequently travel to share about our ministry with people.
Our Job
We have simply the best job in the whole world: ministering to college students and encouraging them wherever they are at in their walk with Jesus. We lead small groups, mentor students, creatively outreach to the secular university campus, and train student leaders to be representatives of Christ to their fellow students. Although we happen to be licensed ministers and appointed missionaries, at heart we are just two people who earnestly desire to love and serve Jesus with all of our hearts. God has taken hold of our lives and there is simply no turning back.
